eSIMs are primarily used for data. To make voice calls, you can use VoIP apps or messaging platforms like WhatsApp or Google Meet over your data connection. SMS functionality is generally not supported.
How many times can I install the eSIM, and can I transfer it to another device? ▼
Your eSIM can be reinstalled multiple times on the same device. This is useful if you accidentally delete the eSIM profile. However, you cannot transfer the QR code to a different smartphone. The QR code is tied to the first device it was activated on.
What should I do if the internet doesn’t work after installing the eSIM? ▼
If you experience issues with internet access, check the following: Data roaming is enabled for your eSIM in your phone’s settings; APN settings are not empty. If they are, configure them manually. The APN name is provided in the email with your eSIM QR code. Leave the username and password fields blank; The eSIM is selected as the mobile data line, especially if you have multiple SIM/eSIM profiles installed.
